VFW Post 1079, Elyria donated $1,400 to Valerie Fields through the Military Assistant Fund so that Valerie Fields could send 40 boxes to the soldiers in Iraq. In each box Valerie has included items such as toilet paper, A&D ointment, Benadryl, Triple X, Hydrocortisone, Hot Cocoa, Tea Bags, Games, Eye Glass Repair Kits, cards, Shampoo, Foot Powder, Life Savers.
