VFW Ohio Charities Executive Director William Seagraves presenting a check in the amount of $2,500 to Hasting Middle School, Hussein Al-Khatib, Vice President and Class President Jason Crouse. Hasting Middle School is a group of 7th graders who raises money to send our World War II Veterans to Washington D.C. to see their memorial. Last November Bill and I had the honor of visiting their school on Veterans Day for their Veterans Day program. What a wonderful group of kids.
 This year the kids have raised enough money to send two groups of World War II Veterans to Washington. These kids will be taking their class trip to Washington D.C. the same time that one group of veterans will be at the memorial, so they will be greeting the veterans with signs and spending some time at the memorial with the veterans.
