VFW of Ohio Charities helped sponsor the  May 21st flight out of Cleveland, Ohio with the following members of the VFWOC Board serving as Guardians: Past Dept. Commander Jim Dickens, Surgeon Gerald Ward, Judge Advocate Sam Compton, State Commander Roger Frye, Sr Vice Dick Uzl Jr.,  and .Roger Mack member of Brunswick Post. ( FIRST PICTURE )

 The May flight had 64 veterans and 38 guardians, 8 of which were Charities, 8 active duty Coast guard, 8 board members and an additional 4 people from Chicago that were observing our hub. Wheelchairs were provided for 17 WWII veterans that went on the flight. We left Cleveland at 12noon and got back at 9:30pm same day.
