 Clyde VFW Post 3341 Ladies Auxiliary held a chicken BBQ and a Silent Auction September 8, 2007. The proceeds will go to the Jeremy Shock Fund. Jeremy was a 22 year old Marine who was killed in Iraq in November. His family is working so hard to raise enough money to put up lights for the ball diamonds at the park in Green Springs in Jeremy's memory. It was always Jeremy's dream to play under the lights in his home town and to have the kids enjoy the same dream, to play like big leaguers'. The Post and the Ladies Auxiliary with the help of our great community raised $10,254 to help with the approximately $150,000 that is still needed for this great venture.
