 A Post member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1055 received an email from a friend in Iraq stating that the unit could not get enough coffee. He suggested that un-ground coffee be sent to them as it would keep and they had a way to grind it when they needed it. The Store manager of the Ravenna Giant Eagle gave a $40.00 gift card and the VFW Post 1055 donated $115.00 to buy and mail twenty bags (2-lbs. each bag) back to the unit. The unit sent a picture of all the military group holding up a bag of coffee and their thanks for the donation. |
