VFW Support of Wright Patterson AFB (WPAFB) Family Services and Heroes Welcoming Heroes Ceremony:  Dan Faulkner, 3^rd District MAPS Chairman, second from left, presented a $10,000 check on behalf of VFWOC to Col Brad Spacy, 88^th Air Base Wing Commander, first from left, for continuing support of WPAFB Family Services.  On behalf of the VFW Nat’l Military Assistance Program, Mr. Faulkner also presented a $5,000 grant to Ms Jennifer Spurgin, Chief WPAFB Family Member Programs, fourth from the left, and MSgt Donald Ferrell, WPAFB First Sergeants Council, second from the right, to sponsor the 19 March 2009 Heroes Welcoming Heroes event and the National Museum of the Air Force, WPAFB.  Also in attendance were Ms Judy Pyron, WPAFB Family Services, third from left and MSgt Laura Ogea, fist from the right, WPAFB First Sergeants Council and member of VFW Post 657.
