VFW Ohio Charities Water

Ohio VFW is making a difference to our troops deploying and returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Just a bottle of water makes a difference to these young hero’s. March Air Reserve Base is the major staging area for the Marines and Navel personnel from 29 Palms, Camp Pendleton, and Miramar Air Station.

We have moved 33,000 troops in and out so far this year with temperatures sometimes over 120 degrees or more inside the deployment center without air conditioning and Ohio VFW Foundation has provided the bottled water with Ohio VFW labeling on the bottles.

All these troops can do is say “thank you” and they do it every day. “Ohio you have made a difference.” You set the example of what Veterans of Foreign Wars is all about. You have taken the phrase “Never again will our troops be treated like they were in the past” and turned it into not just words but reality. Stand proud, Comrades.
